Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

At IT Matterz, we maintain high standards of digital craftsmanship across website development, AI integrations, and video editing. Because our services involve dedicated engineering hours and creative labor, our refund policy is structured as follows:

1. Milestone-Based Engagements

Most IT Matterz projects are billed in structured milestones (e.g., 50% upfront discovery/design deposit, 50% upon final deployment).

Discovery & Wireframing Phase: Once UI/UX prototypes and strategic blueprints have been initiated or delivered, the initial project deposit covers non-recoverable design and consulting hours and is non-refundable.

Development Phase: If a client requests cancellation during active code development or video editing, billing is pro-rated strictly based on hours completed and deliverables produced up to the formal date of cancellation.

2. Retainer & Monthly Support Services

For recurring SEO, maintenance, or retainer-based VFX editing services, either party may terminate the agreement with a 30-day written notice. Unused prepaid fees for subsequent unstarted billing cycles will be refunded within 14 business days.
